Like Flying (Part Seven)
Sunday Afternoon Beach Party
The date with JD, Rose, Conner and Kaylee continued.
JP with Redsword and Cindy
Conner went last, he floated, and moved around slowly but soon was doing some turns and floating up and down, and moving around with one of the instructors. Jim walked to JD and pulled him aside and said something with the noise none could hear what he said to JD. JD smiled and nodded. he walked over to Rose, "They say I have 5 minutes left.” He put his hand gently on her shoulders and stepped close to her kissing her nose. The helmets made it harder to do anything else. "How much do you trust me?" he asked her.
Rose had no idea what JD had planned but answered honestly. "I trust you completely. Why?"
Kaylee was watching this wondering what was going on.
After Conner got out, Jim stepped into the tunnel, but just got to one side. JD lead Rose into the tunnel. "Let's dance but you can’t let go," Was the last thing she heard when the air started to blow he spun her around and leaping back into the air taking Rose with him as he spun and turned it was like a dance with Rose’s gymnastics training they made it look easy. At times, she could feel his body press in hers and hers into him as the air pushed him around. It was like dancing on the clouds JD had the biggest smile on his face if it was not being rippled by the airflow.
JD did not think this would be that romantic. His heart was racing to be this close to Rose he was not sure if he could keep his composure. She was beautiful, smart, and in his arms. Is this what love feels like? He thought, can it be that in a short time? He did not care, this was his and her moment and nothing could take that away.
Conner watched. "Wow JD why did I not think of that? He just have air dancing a new move." He looked at Kaylee. He knew that could be them so easily. He again felt torn why did he have to like so many girls He was in trouble and knew it.
