Like Flying (Part Three)

Sunday Afternoon Beach Party

The date with JD, Rose, Conner and Kaylee continued.

JD gave a smirk."Sure" he sarcastically said after taking a drink of his soda. "So, what are we doing next?" asked JD to the others.

Kaylee smiled behind her glass as she took a sip of soda. What was next? Kaylee didn't really know what was around there.

Rose though was the one that put the question out there. "What else is around here? Other than walking around the mall?"

Conner looked at JD. "There is a lot to do around here," then looked at the girls." JD looked out one of the windows then sat thinking then looked out the window again. "Indoor Skydiving Simulator? You guys feel up to it? It will take a few hours. It will be as close to sky diving as you will get with actually doing it." suggested JD.

Conner said, “I have driven past the building but have not been there,"

JD looked at everyone, "Includes a few minutes of flying, plus training, personal instruction from a coach, and a post-flight recording to show off the experience to your friends. I think it is a lot of fun." JD describes.

Kaylee heard ‘skydiving simulator’ and her eyes lit up. "Oh, I've always wanted to go in one of those." Of course, by now that answer from Kaylee might not have surprised anyone at the table.

Rose took a moment or two longer to answer. "Sure. It sounds like fun."

Conner looked at the two girls, "I am in, can’t have girls outdo me," he said with a silly smile.

JD took a bite of his food. "OK then I'm all for it," he looked at Rose, "Well, we are not jumping out of airplanes. That's a bit scarier," said JD.

Conner stared at JD "Tell me you have not, have you?" he asked.

JD smiled and answered "Maybe. Rose, you are sure you are good with this? I don’t think it’s scary but I don’t want to force anyone into this?" he asked concerned.

Rose was a little surprised when JD said he might have jumped out of a plane. She responded. "I'm good with it. It really does sound like it might be fun." She wouldn't know until she tried. She figured it was probably fairly safe.

Kaylee heard JD say he might have jumped from a plane and glanced over at him. She had looked into it and knew most people had to be 18 but maybe he knew someone. If she ever did find out that JD had jumped from a plane she would probably be jealous
