Intro

Thomas looked at his roommate, smiled, and said, “It look like your time was good.”
He wanted to be encouraging to his roommate. The two of them were about as opposite as they could be.

J.D. had settled into the room without much of a problem. He had strewed his gear and had every thing tucked away in under 15 minutes. You could have bounced a coin off his bed.

The loft was helping them have places to stow their things. This helped keep the tension down. Thomas had also held off doing a few computer thing because J.D. would have probably pounded the snot out of him. He figured JD was placed with him to keep him in line and be a good role model.

“I was thinking we should ask coach about rifle spinning for the football games,” Thomas said trying to see if JD would be interested in that. It looked cool when he saw the marines do it on the practice fields down by the beach. He was probably to short and they probably had an Jr. ROTC program that would do that.
