Breaking Bad

OOC (JP with Cindy and Jaxx)
Jack and Ashely watched the game from the ocean as they kneeled on the sand and let the waves roll over their shoulders. Jack was hoping to get a break from Ashley's constant teasing and even watching guys play volleyball was a pleasant distraction. Ashley: Are you really into this game? Jack: Not really. ……………. Ashley: Oh Jack all is fair in love and war. Besides as mush you complain you don't seem to be in a hurry to push me away. Jack just moaned as he knew Ashley was going to twist his words around again. Ashley then got behind Jack and kneeled down on the wet sand as she hugged Jack from behind affectionately. She teased him as her chest rubbed against his bare back. Jack winced as he endured her constant flirting. During all this the ocean water continued to move back and forth as the waves covered up to their stomachs one moment and their legs the next moment. Poor Jack tried to watch the volleyball game to take him mind off his libido and Ashley’s charms. He was hoping he could calm down before having to leave the water since he was feeling a bit exposed now. Elena saw Jack and Ash sitting. She likes the way that Ashley messed with Jack. She could tell there was love but in a strange way. Maybe a happy annoyance of some sort. But she had to talk to Ashley. Jack looked like he could use a break she walked up to them. "I love you guys interact." Ashley Can I speak with you alone for a moment?" she asked nicely. Ashley looked at Elena and paused for a spell as she contemplated what she was up to. Then she looked at Jack and spoke up. Ashley: Jack be a dear and get us some drinks. Jack looked at Ashley then Elena and sighed as he stood up to leave. Jack: Yeah sure. Jack then left the girls and made his way down the beach. He watched a bit of the volleyball match along the way before he turned his attention to the crowd he had to walk through. Apparently the volleyball match was gaining more attention from the students.
Riley hadn’t gotten to spend much time with the nerds and it sounded fun so she said yes. Upon getting to the area at the picnic benches the nerds were setting up, She was introduced to the new people of the group; including a girl named April, who seemed a little on the quiet side, nothing wrong with that, just an observation and a boy named Zander. Sometime later, the game ended as they had found the treasure and killed all the things that needed killing to get it. The group started breaking up and Riley looked down to the beach to see a volleyball game going. It looked like; she moved a little closer. “Hey,” Speaking to the group as a whole. “It looks like the rich kids are playing volleyball against the mixed kids.” The mixed kids was a weird nomer but more than a few people at the school had started to call that group that sat in the middle of the cafeteria because they were such a mix of students. She saw a head of brunette hair sitting down and instantly recognized her good friend Courtney. “Who’s winning?” Zander asked. “It looks like, well, I don’t know.” She paused. “I’m going to go down and see.” A few of the nerds headed down to watch the game but Riley stood behind to get something to drink. She headed down after getting a smoothie from the dessert truck, walking by herself, not really in much of a rush. She wasn't even half way there when she was distracted from getting to her destination.
Joey and Charlie were feeling mischievous after their talk with Elena. They truly believed she would help them get revenge on Ashley as well as naughty pics of her in the locker room. They were acting like two little boys expecting candy from their parents which revealed their twisted value system. Of course that didn’t stop them from flirting with the other females around, but sadly most to them had a boyfriend, girlfriend or were not interested. The females they were into were the ones they could not easily get with their charm or wallet. So to make themselves feel better they decided to hit on the girls by the desert truck. As they arrived they saw Riley and remembered her as the girl who hung out with the nerds for some reason. Feeling the need to rescue her from the world of nerds they approached her with their version of charm.
Joey: Hey babe. Fancy meeting you here.
Charlie: Looks like ya got a sweet tooth there girl. Maybe we can help ya with that?
Joey: What my friend here means is that you look lonely and could use some quality company.
Charlie: Yeah why are ya hanging out with those nerds?
Joey: Why settle for nerds when you can hang with us?
Joey and Charlie were really trying to act cool for Riley as they waited for her to agree with them.
Riley rolled her eyes and tried to not laugh in their faces. "Well, if you find any quality company let me know." She verbally knocked them down. "Really? And why would I ever hang out with you?" She attempted to keep walking and not wait for an answer.
Joey and Charlie were a bit taken back at first but their egos would not accept defeat so easily. Then they moved to block Riley so they could talk to her again.
Joey: Slow your roll girl.
Charlie: No need to rush off.
Joey: I think you misunderstood us.
Charlie: Yeah we are just being friendly with ya.
Joey: Surely you could use some friends’ right?
"No thanks, I have plenty of friends." Which was true and not just the nerds but she had other friends as well. But because they had blocked her in she couldn't get away from them.
Joey was not hearing that as he tried to put on his “Smolder” expression to charm Riley. Sadly it only worked on weak minded girls who were attracted to Joey in the first place. Charlie on the other hand preferred to use his muscles to attract girls as he basically copied Joey to hit on girls. Sadly he was trying too hard in his approach.
Joey: Come on girl you know you don’t mean that.
Charlie: Yeah we are two wild and crazy guys.
Joey: How about we finish this conversation someplace quiet?
Where these two for real? Riley thought as she sighed. "Ummm.... no thanks. " Did she need a big flashing 'Not Interested' sign? She stepped forward. "Now, get out of my way."
Joey and Charlie laughed it off as if Riley was joking with them. They seemed to be struggling with the idea of a female rejecting them, especially one who hung out with nerds. Sadly these two idiots were in their own little world where they were royalty. Of course because of their pompous egos they failed to noticed that Jack approached them from behind.
Jack: Hey mumbo……jumbo…….you’re in my way.
Poor Jack ignored as Joey and Charlie continued to talk about how great they were and how lucky Riley was to spend quality time with them. Jack was obviously annoyed with the two idiots as he scowled behind their backs as they were blocking his path to the desert trucks. Seeing as they were not going to let Jack pass, he looked around and saw a nearby beach table with a tray of condiments in it. Then Jack looked at Joey and Charlie once again to see they were shirtless to show off their muscles. So after making an annoyed face, Jack picked up two squirt bottles of sriracha sauce and proceeded to decorate the backs of Joey and Charlie. Jack kept his expression of a cold dead fish as he covered most of the backs of Joey and Charlie before they realized what he was doing. Both Joy and Charlie turned around with an upset expression.
Joey: What is your problem man?!!!
Charlie: Do you want a beat down?
Jack: You are in my way.
Joey and Charlie looked at each other as they realized it was Jack who interrupted them. Then their anger turned to concern as they felt a tingle on their backs. Then the tingle felt like ant bites and continued to get worse each second.
Joey: What the hell did you……..
Charlie: Hey that burns. Damn you!
Jack: Move.
Joey and Charlie wanted to fight Jack but the burning on their back was to much for them so they raced to the showers while shouting.
Joey: This isn’t over Jack! ARRrrgggh!
Charlie: Yeah not over! Man it burns!
Jack looked at Riley and shrugged.
Jack: Sorry they were in my way.
Riley wasn't going to try to explain why she hung out with nerds as she was certain they wouldn't understand. She could see Jack walking up behind them and when he called them "mumbo" and "jumbo" she heard it and bit her lip. She watched without saying a word as sauce went all over the two annoying Joey and Charlie. Her brows raised slightly as they said it burned. As they raced to the showers she laughed. "Don't apologize. I should thank you. They are such jerks."
Jack’s scowl slowly reverted to an annoyed expression as he watched Joey and Charlie run to the showers in pain. He almost snickered for a moment before he moaned with annoyance. He looked at Riley who he vaguely remember seeing before in the halls. She was pretty and seemed polite but he already had enough women trouble in his life so he had no desire to get close to her. He figured he was already in over his head with Ashley. Then he replied to Riley who spoke up about Joey and Charlie.
Jack: Yeah they are and sadly I doubt that will slow them down much. They are over achievers when it comes to being macho-pervs. If ya want to avoid them in the future stay close to your friends.
Riley nodded. "I'll keep that in mind." She paused for a moment. "I don't think we've actually been introduced. I'm Riley." Riley still had a few friends on the cheerleading squad and had been told who Jack was and that he was dating Ashley but she didn't think to mention that at the moment.
Jack was a bit shocked that Riley still wanted to talk to him. He had hoped that the conversation was over so he could get a drink but she was still carrying on the conversation. He had no idea why this was happening. No matter how much of a jerk he was in the conversation or that he had a scowl on his face all the time, the students kept talking to him like they were long life friends. Sadly due to his mother forcing a value system into his lifestyle he had a hard time making a girl cry, so he limited what he would say to them.
Jack: Ummmmm okay. Well I am not very social anyway, but I’m Jack and it won’t hurt my feelings if you don’t remember me later on.
Jack was hoping she would move so he could get his drink but was now stuck in a conversation with her. He wondered if she was going to keep talking to him or get bored of him already. In his mind he prayed she would join her friends, but he knew fate could be cruel to him as he would be forced to listen to her prattle on about show shopping or some just as boring. He winced at the thought but tried to be polite.
He was a little, was odd the word? He seemed like he might just be being polite. She wasn't one for not talking to people but she would have walked away if she knew what he was thinking. After, she would have never guessed a simple introduction would have amounted to, in anyone's mind, to talking to him like a lifelong friend. "Oh, you're the guy dating Ashley. I'm friends with a few of the cheerleaders." So, she knew that.
Anyway, she was missing the volleyball game and he probably had come up here for other reasons. It was then she heard. "Hey, Riley." She looked up to see a few of the nicer cheerleaders, the ones she was friends with. "Are you going to watch the volleyball game?"
"I was about to head that way." Riley responded. She turned back towards Jack. "It was nice meeting you. Thanks again for the assist." And with that she wandered off with the cheerleaders.
Jack: Uhhh huh.
Jack nodded as Riley left then sighed in relief. He was worried she was going to talk his ear off and force him to kill himself to escape, but luckily she moved on so he was now unobstructed to getting his drink from the dessert truck. He almost smiled as he approached the dessert truck till a group of cute, bikini clad chattering females gathered in front of him and began debating on what they wanted. Then the conversation diverted to swimsuits and then shoe shopping. Jack was developing an eye twitch as he was reaching high stress levels, while listening to the girls chatter nonstop as if they didn’t need to breadth. It was bad enough he had to put up with Ashley but now he was putting up with rude babbling teeny boppers blocking him from getting his comfort dessert. Then he noticed the volleyball game was still going on and an evil smile came across his face as he altered his voice to sound like a girl.
Jack (female voice): Hey who are those sexy shirtless guys at the beach? Is one them that sexy Conner guy?
Suddenly the babbling hotties stopped talking and turned to look as Jack was looking down and waiting patiently like he did nothing. Ironically they looked past him like he was no one and looked to see the guys playing volleyball and proceeded to make their way over and began asking who Conner was. Jack waited till they left before he stepped up and ordered his chocolate mint coffee smoothie. He patiently waited a few minutes then actually smiled as he took it and sipped from the straw. He felt his tension melt away and sighed in relief. Then he made his way to an empty table and sat under an umbrella to relax as he sipped his cold treat.
Meanwhile Joey and Charlie somehow managed to remove the hot sauce from their backs in time and were left with red marks on their backs from the chemical burns. However being the macho men that they were they acted like it was just a simple matter. In reality it felt like a sunburn at this stage. So once they left the showers they had planned to get back at Jack for his cruel trick, but sadly they knew they could not fight him since he one beat them quickly with little effort the last time. So as the two idiots racked their brains they saw another cute rocker girl nearby and forgot all about Jack. They then made their way to her and promptly began hitting on Nix.
Joey: Well hello sexy. You look so familiar. Didn't we take a class together? I could've sworn we had chemistry.
Charlie: I seem to have lost my phone number. Can I have yours?
