Something New or Not
He walked around a little, filming here and there, there were things to figure out but not right now. He ended up in front of Justin and put the camera down. "Hey," he smiled. "How's it going?" Kyle wouldn't be able to talk long as he needed to get in more filming but figured at least he could say hello to the other boy.
Justin: Hey.
Justin gave a nice smile as he saw Kyle. He was surprised to see him so soon since he was planning on trying to sneak a chance to talk to him later on that night.
Justin: Wasn't sure when we were going to get a chance to hang out again. I was beginning to think I might have to wait till it was dark again. Think you can squeeze it into your busy schedule?
"Oh, I think I can make some time for you." Kyle smiled. "I'll get more filming in later." He glanced around for a moment. "So, did you have any plans for the afternoon? After this is done." Meaning helping out. Kyle didn't really have a plan for later so he was curious as to what Justin's was.

JD just looked at her and stared at her for a moment then smiled. "I am glad that you are not bothered by Lance," he replied. He looks up at the sky the sun was hot the but the ocean breeze felt good. Looking back down at Rose how she looked in the sun is breathtaking the way her hair reflected the light. Her eyes sparkled there was no hiding how he felt about her. A greater desire was building in him wanting to be with her. He blushed some realizing what she must think of him acting this way. He gave a shy smile. "Well.... Ah.. mmm.. I should get back to helping the others" he said trying to regain his senses.
"I've been around people like Lance my entire life. They never really understand certain things." Rose shrugged. The only thing bugging her about Lance and Elena was she couldn't figure out what they wanted from her. She noticed him, the way he looked at her, the way he seemed to blush and smiled. Rose wasn't a mind reader but it was a little obvious, well, at least some of it, it was flattering actually. Well, coming from him, she thought it was. He mentioned getting back to work and she nodded. "Yeah, I'll probably be done shortly as they just wanted me to do the detail work. But yeah, we should get back to it." She picked up her paintbrush and went back to work to allow JD to do the same.

Dante looked at the guitar again. "Sort of." he said, "It is but it isn't." he shrugged. "It's a bit of a Frankenstein monster of a guitar. Bits and pieces from other guitars, bought on the cheap from pawn shops, fixed up, new holes drilled so everything fits just right and then a new paint job." he said taking it from the stand and showing her. The paint was quite unique, depending on the light that hit it it's color shifted. A glitter flecked Galaxy Purple that in the right light looked Bubblegum Pink.
"Neck is one guitar, body is another and all the electronics another, tuners and nuts are from another. It's frankly a mess, and took me more time and money to make it sound good then it would have taken to just buying one that was pricy and pre-made but, unique guy like me needs a unique guitar."
Melissa looked over the guitar. She could see what Dante was saying about it, still. "I still like it." The guitar, seemed, to somehow suit Dante, as it was one of a kind, but she felt a little silly saying that.
She almost let down her guard but then looked up and noticed some of the cheerleaders looking her way and she instantly tensed up and swallowed. "I should really go. Maybe, I'll be able to talk to you later." With that Melissa went back to helping the cheerleaders.
Going was really the last thing she wanted to do but last night had been a mess, not just with Dante but the talk her and Doug had had afterwards. It wasn't really a talk just Doug being mad at her and saying a bunch of things she wished she could forget, either way, he made it very clear that she better not be caught talking to Dante. She just hoped the cheerleaders were just curious and not spies but there was no way of knowing for sure.

Meanwhile without Dante around to talk to Jocelyn was a bit stuck. She didn't really want to swim yet, maybe at all and she wasn't sure what everyone else was doing she wasn't in the talent show. It wasn't much but she had a small pail and a little plastic shovel. Cheap, she'd bought it for a few dollars. And to occupy herself she set out making sand castles. Maybe people would join, maybe Dante would be back soon, she just hopped bullies didn't kick sand in her face.
Rose finished up the last of her job and looked around. Everyone else seemed busy but she was done so it was time to maybe spend a little time on the beach before lunch. She went to the guest house, got cleaned up and changed and found her way on to the beach, walking along the sand. Her mind kept finding her way to JD, everything about JD, how much she liked him and how in the world she was going to tell him what she needed to.
Not a topic for right now, she continued to walk and looked up at one point spotted someone sitting alone. Was that a ...so, it wasn't a sandcastle, yet but might have been the start to one. Rose a little curious and actually wondering if she might be able to help as that looked like fun wandered over to, who turned out to be a girl.
"Hi," She said to the other girl. "That looks like fun. I think now I should have brought something to build a sandcastle with."
