Team Players

He looked up at everyone "I look forward to working with you all" Looking at Doug "Let's try to get through this without too much trouble. Work together as a team and pass with a good grade." he paused "think we can do that?" He said looking at everyone there. this was the test to see who would be team players.

Doug hated this: if it wasn't bad enough having to sit next to people he didn't care to associate with. It was worse that one of those people happened to be Dawn. He knew that whatever he said or did would get back to Zander and possibly their moms. He suddenly felt like he couldn't just be himself but he also wasn't going to pretend to like the situation.

He looked at JD as the other boy spoke. Team Players Yeah, right. Whatever. This was one the few classes that was actually important to Doug. Zander did well with computers, math, science and really most classes. Dawn did well with anything in the preforming arts. Business, accounting, fiance had always been where Doug did his best. It felt like his little niche had been infiltrated by his sister being there.

Kyle spoke first. "Yeah, sure I'm willing to."

Dawn shot a look at Doug then said. "Sure, if everyone else is.

They were willing to be team players, Doug needed a decent grade in this. He took a breath and then spoke up. "Ok." Agreeing to JD's request. Doug would work with them but he wasn't going to like it.
