Incoming

"Detecting defensive lasers on the planet's surface, they are targeting our destroyers." The bridge officer said as he looked to the console.

"Shields to full." Liden said. "It would be a shame to have to call in a recovery team for being accidentally shot down as we landed."

Liden's shuttle broke through the cloud layer and approached the facility. Liden sensed a dark presence and looked to see a lone man standing out in the snow. Dressed in a manner clearly unfitting for the climate, yet he seemed unperturbed by the cold.

"There... land close to that man." Liden said firmly as she went to the loading ramp to disembark the moment they landed.

Liden's shuttle came to a stop on the snowy ground in front of Jin'Lor and the ramp extended and buried itself in the snow. Liden strode out flanked by black armored storm troopers who paid Jin'Lor little mind as they secured the area. Liden's gaze, if Jin'Lor could have actually seen her eyes behind the opaque helmet, was squarely on him. She could feel the dark side, it rolled off of him like a powerful stench. The fact he seemed similar to the stranger that Leto had encountered on Jakku was also a promising sight. Liden's black lips curled into a smile.

"Pleasure to meet you. I am Darth Liden. Grand Inquisitor of The Empire. Who are you?"

“Ghost and Serenity and a droid.” The droid replied. Red scans the shaft “its stuck it will not move.” Said RED. Rowan looked at ripper hope you can climb” Rowan said. he turned to Red “get up there help them” he ordered.

Mar frowned at Rowan. "Oh don't be daft! I think that was from the recoil of the defense cannons, not star destroyer blasts. Liden wants this place intact." Mar reached out with the force and proceeded to clear the debris letting it fall to the side and down the shaft further. "KC, get the power running on the lift."

"Boo dreet!" KC said exuberantly as he plugged into the elevator with his scomp link. Soon the lift's lights switched on and KC did a small nod with his head.

Mar looked to the others. "Alright, time to get out of here..." Then his eyes fell onto Quint who was thinking about something.

She looked at them and said, “What is going on with Ripper can’t fall into the hands of the Darkside.” She turned and started back down the hallways looking for data nodes to follow.

Mar watched Quint run off then looked back to the others. "She's right. If Liden's here we can't let her get a hold of the research data." He looked to Ryze. "Tell me there's a way to wipe the memory core... or a self destruct?"

(Feel free to have Ryze tell Mar what they can do here and potentially have him join Mar and Mira)

Mira looked to Keran, a silent conversation happened between them in moments as they agreed on what both should do. Mira went to Mar and nodded to him. "I'll come with you."

"And I will tend to the padawans." Keran said as he hopped onto Serenity's shoulder and smiled at her and Ghost. "Do not fear, Master Mar. I will keep them safe."

Mar let a small smile curl the corners of his mouth. "Thank you." Then he looked to Serenity. "Take care of Ghost... be safe..."

Mar and Mira darted after Quint.

The Ninth Sister looked at the landing bay with the two ships, one old freighter and an even older Sith stealth ship. She was flanked by a large squad of black armored Storm Troopers who were already taking up positions near an elevator that had come to life. Eventually, the elevator signaled that someone was riding it up to the landing bay.

The Ninth Sister ignited her lightsaber and waited for the elevator doors to open.
