Alarm

Jin'Lor was atop the beast hidden within the storm when he saw Darth Liden's ships break through the barrier around the planet. A grin crossed his face and he continued to watch them advance closer to where the hidden facility waited. "Sorry, bud, but I think I might have found a ride off this frozen sphere." He chanted happily to the beast before hopping off and landing in the snow at a roll.

Getting his balance back, he made his way out of the storm and looked up toward the approaching ships again. Pulling out two of his knives, he pulsed electrical current through them and chuckled. "Who could you be?" He muttered to himself, a glint in his blue eyes.

Once everyone was together again, an image of the woman from the hologram room appeared in the hallway. "I apologize for any intrusion to your personal affairs, but there seems to be an approaching battalion outside. Ryze, should I initiate the defense protocols you updated me with ten years ago? It may not stop them, but the blasts will be a decent distraction."

A truly sad look crossed Ryze's face as he gazed upon the image of the woman. There was no time to dwell on old memories, though. "Yes, initiate the defenses and take us to the landing bay. We need to leave..." Pressing a hand to the wall near them, he silently watched as it slid open to reveal a hidden elevator. "Don't ask, just get in."

Ghost was hesitant, keeping Serenity close to her as they got onto the elevator. The only thing keeping her from having another break down was the teen padawan and she was determined to keep the young girl safe.

VT-L2 squealed happily as he hopped into the elevator and slammed into the wall, flailing his remaining arm childishly. "We get to leave! Leave! Come on, Quint! We get to leave!" The little droid chanted.

The sound of the rising cannons pulled Jin'Lor's attention from the ships. Glaring back at them, he grimaced and crouched down to avoid being knocked off his feet by the vibrations caused by the large weapons. Four shots were fired at once toward the ships and he laughed, watching it unfold.

"That's not going to stop them, you know!" He yelled with a grin.
