Go To Ground

"I say we leave him here and get going. we needed to regroup before facing Rowans bounty and the sith right" She said quietly. she backed away from Rownan but where can we go that the sith wont find us?" she asked.

Mar's brow furrowed as he considered Serenity's question. "Any place with a strong Dark Side aura could mask our presence to even the most adept Sith. Raxis Prime, Dagobah, Coruscant, Nar Shaddaa..." Fact of the matter was that there were plenty of places they could hide from The Remnant. The issue was that most of them were dangerous in their own way. It was a decision between a being pursued or having to hide on a hostile world.

"I have an idea of where to hide, but..." She let the words trail off and dug into her bag, pulling out a strangely shaped key. "You might not like how cold -!?"

VT-L2 suddenly snatched the key from her and ran around in circles with Ring and Carla following close behind him in an attempt to stop the droid. "Hey!" Ghost yelled, watching them, but too afraid to step further into the room. "Give me that! It's my only way home!"

Despite being paralyzed, Ripper attempted to speak, but could only choke out a broken "no" as his eye watched VT-L2 run around in circles. Tripping over his own wheel-like feet, the little droid squealed happily as the key went flying into the air. Ring instantly went for it, spinning in a blur as it crashed into the key and destroyed it.

Ghost's ears instantly fell as she frowned. "Never mind..." She murmured and left the room quickly.

Mar frowned and looked to Serenity. "Go see she's okay... and see if her suggestion for a hiding spot is still valid without her key."

Mar then looked to Quint once more. "You insist you don't need a master, yet look at your situation. Bringing in a dangerous enemy, bound to an assassin, and chaos running amok on The Ranger." He looked at her firmly. "I may not be the best person to teach you, but I do know things about surviving in this galaxy. Perhaps you'd be best to listen every now and then."

He looked to Ripper with disgust in his eyes. "All you need do is sense the fear that he causes Ghost. Hers is a pain embedded deep within herself. A pain he is responsible for. Consider this, Quint... some people cannot, and should not, be saved..."

Mar left the room and went to find Rowan. Upon doing so he regarded the Mandalorian with a respectful nod. "I know you were eager to collect your bounty, but with the Inquisitors present, not to mention the Imperial Remnant on alert... I'd recommend going to ground, regrouping, and trying to come at these people from a more advantageous position. Do you agree? Plus it'd be good to find a place I can train the others so they are better prepared when we do make our move against Liden and Icerraine..." Mar shrugged. "And if that's the case... what world would be best for us to find refuge and regroup?"
