The weapon blast of energy goes right some. Even the light saber that Mar flickers some as the weapon fired.

Ripper froze at the sight of Rowan and realized too late what was being shot at him, but has enough sense to release Ring just before he gets hit.

Blue energy nicks ripper. Energy bolts ravage his body throwing him back some 3 meters Hitting the sand hard and rolling some.

Just as the blue energy nicks him, Ripper lets out a loud roar full of pain. When he finally stops rolling, ending up on his back, the only thing able to move is his left eye.
