Gasping, Ghost dropped her light sabers and tried to grab Serenity, only to fall short by mere inches. "No!" She cried, fearing for the girl.

Ripper had dropped to the ground and gazed at Serenity as she came for him. "Out of my way, little Jedi." He grunted as he dodged her assault and the double bladed sword from his back, avoiding using the light saber strapped to his hip. Being smart, he kept the teenager just out of reach, watching her every move and seeming to forget about Mar.
