Not What He Expected

Mar was about to attack again when Serenity switched off her lightsaber. He paused and was genuinely surprised when she offered the saber to him. The look of defeat on her face, he realized then that his approach to get her angry had backfired spectacularly.

"What???" He tried to process what she was doing. "Just like that? You give up??? That wasn't the point! Why... what...?" He snatched the lightsaber from her hand and held it in front of her. "This is the weapon of a jedi. Which you built with a crystal you earned. Where is that jedi??? What happened?" He suddenly wanted to find her former master and force choke him for his stupidity. How a jedi could let such a promising student go so astray was unthinkable.

He hissed in frustration. "You'd think a jedi would sense when someone is trying to taunt them with lies..." He shoved the lightsaber back into her hands. "It's clear we have a lot of work ahead of us, my young padawan." He didn't elaborate on why he returned her lightsabe. In reality the reason why was because he was coming to the realization he had made a grave error in trying to goad the girl into getting angry and he felt the need to try and smooth things over.

Then the droid started broadcasting some strange voice.

“Tell that Sith that he hurts her that there is no where he can hied that I won’t find him” as he actives all his guns and his shields to max. “Master Rowan he heard you.” said RED

"Tell your friend out there that Serenity's safe." Though not sound, obviously. Mar was realizing that all to clearly. "I'm not the Sith you're looking for."
