Oddly Familiar
Kespin couldn’t describe the joy he felt in traveling, always a chance to see new things. When he landed, he felt right at home here, as if it were a well walked path from his childhood.
The hooded figure by the fire grabbed his attention immediately, though he had no clue why.
“A fire! My my, you don’t appreciate the little things until big things start happening.”
Huddling close, he was slightly alarmed at a strange buzzing on him. Upon closer inspection, the jar containing the spirit he grabbed from Hel was agitated, the ball of light bouncing around its prison.
“Calm yourself! It’s not decent to present us that way to strangers!”
Closing his cloak, he retrieved his journal once more and began muttering, flipping through pages.
