Her nerves were calmed by Jorrik's reassurance.
"Im no master by any means, but merging blades is do able."
The forge burned with a white glow, Jorrik's blades glowing as well. She had never worked with whatever the Valkyries blade was, she hoped it was malleable enough. The runes however, were a different story.
"I know a good bit when it comes to putting runes on a weapon, merging them? That's a new one."
Using her own magic to protect her hands, she grabbed the steaming metal and brought it to the anvil. Molding the metal would be the easiest part of this, she hoped that the runes would hold. Her hammer smacked the weapons with a loud, resonating ring. She had missed the sound and her mind soon cleared so that her focus was solely on the blades.
"We will only need Luna's magic and only as a defense. If these runes don't hold or react well with the others, it could get ugly."
Feeling the metal begin to resist, she stuck them back in the forge. The witch spoke up, asking about the purpose of this reforging.
"That is a good question, both of them are good blades alone. Why mix them?"
