Lore : Trolls

Trolls are common across the nine worlds. There are many different types of troll from the vicious Trolls Packs of the Trollmarch Plains north of Cayemar to the gigantic Black Trolls that wander alone throughout the Wrath in the south.

Common Trolls

The Common Troll, like those who form the dreaded Troll Packs of the north are mindless brutes. Apelike in shape with grey and green mottled skin that sprouts black wiry hair turning to grey as they age. The bulbous nose, black beady eyes and wide mouth of a troll appears to be a mockery of humanity, while their long muscled arms are decidedly inhuman in both strength and appearance.

The average troll if well fed and kept from harm can live indefinitely due to their strange regenerative qualities. Trolls have even been known to regenerate limbs or recover from seemingly fatal injuries due to this same quality.

The common troll has a ravenous appetite and will even turn to cannibalism should food be in short supply or a feeding frenzy be on them. They for the most part hunt in packs, hunting with their sense of smell and hearing rather than their sight. It is suspected that troll eye sight it poor.
