Pursuit

High above in the upper halls of the Tinder Mines Captain Falon of the third Legion if Sol was getting angry. The Dwarves were of a mining clan so had been subdued quickly by his men. He also had to admit that the Sisterhood of the Old were handy in a fight, if a little too quick to deal a fatal blow. Their leader Sigrid was standing next to him right now menacing the elder Dwarf.

"Listen to me you half pint troll turd, we will find them with your help or without it. The only question that remains is whether when we leave this hall you are still breathing."

Elder Erinforge eyed her warily before offering a wide grin and a slight bow. "You drive a hard bargain lass, but what would you have of me? I have already confirmed that they have been through here and also told you which way they went. I do not stand in your way."

"Neither do you help us." Falon snapped.

"Well that's a fine thing." replied the Dwarf. "You fight your way in, killing and wounding my workers and then demand help like we were allies of old. Those you seek at least came to us in peace."

"They are vile criminals." Falon said, "And they have among them a deserter."

"And you Sir are a tresspasser and you have amongst you foul murderers." The elder retorted.

"Allow me to gut him." Sigrid growled as she drew a wicked looking dagger.

"No!" Came a scream from the far end of the chamber. They all turned to see a young female Dwarf watching them with wide tear filled eyes. "No, do not hurt him." She sobbed. I will show you the way.
