A dark matter

The giant emerged from the shadows as if drawn to the ethereal light of Lunas spell. He studied it for a moment and made to reach towards it before stopping himself. The old giant was grizzled, dirty and blind in one eye. He studied the group with interest and at last his gaze fell upon Erik and he gave a low nod.

"Brother." he said, "I would free you."

"Why did you attack us?" Balar demanded, drawing Oroms attention. The giant frowned and glanced back towards the crystal caverns.

"My children sought to detain you." he said, "The blood taint of my brothers must be quelled."
