Dragons are Dead

"Jörmungandr was the last of the dragons and he died in the Ragnarok." Tiella said as they made their way onward.

The others looked at her questioningly and she shrugged.

"They could be Drakes, Wyverns or perhaps even Harpies this far north. Chances are they just giant Ravens which would be bad enough if they are hungry."

"But the shadows did speak of a dragon." repeated Luna.

Again Tiella shrugged. "Jörmungandr was the eldest of the children of Loki, a half brother to both Hel and the Harlequin. He is tied up in this tale of ours but you have to admit those shadows of yours are more than a little cryptic, who knows what their true meaning is."

They walked on toward the rising smoke peering forward to see what the flying specks were.
