A surprising encounter

Nate primarily just listened as Dorian talked. It was nice for once not to have to answer all kinds of question, but still being able to spend some time with another person. Furthermore, Nate loved to hear about other places, their history and Dorians family certainly seemed to have their share of stories to be told.

When they reached the campsite Nate almost stopped dead in his tracks at the sight of the huge man. Never in his life had he encountered a man of his size before. Then suddenly the man approached Dorian at a stunning pace which instinctively made Nate reach for his sword. Unfortunately he had hidden it a little too well in the bundle of rags that were strapped to his bag which made it impossible for him to get his hands on it before the man reached Dorian.

"Friend Dorian! Is pleasure to cross paths." the giant mans words surprised Nate once more and made him turn to look at the two of them. For a moment he couldn't quite believe it. So this was the guy Dorian had talked about? Nate was unable to hide his bewilderment and just stared at them and only stopped when the huge man let go of Dorian and turned his attention towards him asking"And who is this with Friend Dorian?". "I am Ethan Whittaker, a traveller from the west. It is a pleasure to meet one of Dorians friends." he said whike giving a small, but polite bow, not wanting to offend the man who seemed to be at least twice his size.
