Nate couldn't quite hold back a smile at Dorians enthusiasm. "In that case I accept your offer. And thanks, but you really don't need to worry about making a new backstory for me." The last part he added a little jokingly in return.

"And the same about the magic. Not that I don't appreciate your skills, but it's not like I haven't seen that kind of tricks before.". He said it sligthly teasing to not seem like it had impressed him as much as it had and at the same time trying to hide the fact that magic had never been part of his everyday life. To be honest one part of him would love to see more of it, but his other half kept reminding him how dangerous it was.
