-Ragodast Outskirts. Late Afternoon, 1 DSTR-
Isai glanced towards Auriel as he heard her mumbling when he approached her. She had spoken quiet enough to make it that he could not understand her, but he was certain she had made some sort of comment about the events that had transpired. Looking over his shoulder at the man, Isai felt his upper lip curl in a mixture of disgust and fury as he spoke, "Wretched bastard. He demanded sex from his slaves, and those who did not comply would be killed for sport. Unarmed and poisoned, he would fight them with a full suit of mail and a longsword."
Shaking his head, he looked back towards her and took the slab of meat with a chuckle. He had not thought about it when he initiated his attack, and he was thankful she had taken it when he had moved it towards her. [Herpaderp, my fault. I forgot about the package :P thanks :)] Following her towards the stable where their carriage awaitsd, he heard her speak and smiled slightly. Handing her the package as the carriage closed in, he responded in a whisper, "Do not bother with reimbursing me. Keep your funds for the war effort, not some carriage ride."
As the carriage arrived, he heard a rabble beginning from the streets and turned to look over his shoulder slightly. Seeing a white haired man with two swords, he thought to inform the man of the compromised defense that came from such a style, but instead decided to get into the carriage. He had tested his fighting skills enough for the day, and that was against a drunkard. There were many things that Isai was, but a warrior was not one of them. Not a warrior with a sword at least. Lars always told him that his mind and to.the were his weapons, and that those should never fail him to a point where steel was needed.
Following Auriel into the carriage, he sat opposite of her and glanced towards the door as the driver closed it. Hearing a voice calling her name, he shot a glance towards her before smiling and leaning back while speaking, "Seems you have an admirer Elthien. However, I believe we will leave before he can make his presence known."
