Attentive

Rolling on her side to face the window, she avoided looking at Artem so early in the morning. The room wasn't bad- it was just what you'd expect if you were staying at an Inn in a deadly forest. Conwood slept dressed in the long deep purple dress she had worn yesterday. The fabric had started to itch from wearing it so long. Her leather strap up boots sat under the window, her two daggers on her bedside, and her house key was in the drawer.

Throwing her legs over the side of the bed, her bodice reached towards the roof, stretching her back and shoulders upwards. A release of pressure escaped her through a groan. Standing up and walking towards the window, her eyes laid down on the trail they had been following the night before. Just at the edge of the tree line, at least 10 feet in the woods, she noticed a man and a woman speaking with high tensions.

Not any of our business, that's for sure. Turning around she looked over at Artem and bent over to grab her boots. Sliding her feet in, she began by tightening the laces and tying them. Her eyes occasionally drifting over to the sleeping man. "Maybe I should keep you around" A smile was placed on her lips at remembrance of the prior night. Just after grabbing both of her daggers, she propped one leg on the edge of the bed. Pulling the hem of her dress up just above mid thigh, she tied her dagger to the outside of her thigh- anticipating the ride into the city. Following suit with the other leg, her hands found the house key from inside the drawer. A ribbon from her dress that was attached to the waist was looped through the top of the key- securing it to her body.

Making her way to exit the room, she left her cloak behind as to let him know she hadn't disappeared. Walking down the hall she could hear movement from one other room. Interested in those residing in the room peaked after remembering how late they had gotten in. Who else could possibly have roamed into the woods to stay here? Conwood lingered in the hallway; slowly walking towards the lobby in hopes to catch another guest at the Inn.
