Isai could not help the disgusted expression that crossed over his face as Auriel suggested the tavern, his mind trailing to the pained existence of the lower class. Pursing his lips, he shook his head slightly and closed his eyes, his imagination running wild at the thoughts of this tavern. Flies buzzing around and landing in his stew of some sort, only to get caught by the congealed grease on top and added to the meal as extra "protein and seasoning." Fighting the urge to gag, he glanced over his shoulder and called out, "Barble, add 4 pounds of pork belly to my order. You can come back out when you are completed."

Turning back to Auriel, he smirked slightly before speaking, "No hard feelings with the local...cuisine, but I would much rather treat you to a meal at my home, Elthien. See it as for old time's sake, since it has been so long since we saw each other." Shaking his head and chuckling softly, he spoke in a more hushed voice, "I was foolish on the outset and didn't think to procure transportation for the return journey. Take your offer of paying for the meal, and instead invest it in transportation to the capital. I will pay for this and meet you out front soon. Barble makes quick work of the meat, but he only serves the finest of cuts.

Glancing over her shoulder at Jack and Lelu, his smile wavered slightly as he spoke, "My request regarding those two stands, but if they must come, I will allow it. However, they must behave themselves and not try to lie once we arrive. I am the only true sympathizer in my home, she is on the fence. However, any attack towards her is an attack on me, I trust you understand the implications. Now, go on. I will be out soon."
