A desperate escape

Sabina never got a chance to answer before a blast of ice, seemingly appearing out of nowhere, struck the man in front of her. With the terrifying man now distracted she didn’t waste a second and quickly turned around the horse and galloped away at full speed. She didn’t look back at all, but just hoped that she would be able to get away. Furthermore, even though her main focus was to escape, she also tried to follow her trail back to where she split up with Ceriden and Gareth. It might not be the brightest idea to seek them out, but right now they were her only chance of making it out of this forest alive.

She kept on pushing the horse to continue as fast as it could, though she wasn’t sure at all that she was heading the right direction.
