Luck

Seeing her smile like that only added to her beauty and it made him forget all about his job, at least for a moment. He also noticed how she hesitated just sligthly before letting go of him, and smiled a little back at her.

"Oh, poor me." He said smiling, clearly being sarcastic "But if it can't be any different then I guess I can live with having to listen to you snore one night.". This really had turned out to be his lucky day. Not only did he have an easy job ahead of him that would be rewarded handsomely, but he'd then met this enchanting woman who'd even be paying for a night at an inn and share a room with him.

He tied the horse to a pole outside the inn before following her inside. "Yes, perhaps you really are magical. And if that's the case maybe I should keep you around" he added jokingly while placing an arm around her shoulder, and thereby pulling her closer to him.
