Fey Frolicking
He was staring, and while he knew he should not her silhouette was hard not to just watch. The way she moved and the way she spoke, it was enchanting. His breath slowed though his heart was speeding up. With her hand on her hip she spoke about her work, and the other men she would meet. When she mentioned the bounty hunter her nodded. She did say she liked him. “A bounty hunter.” Repeating what she said to show he had been listening. “That would ruffle the feathers of many of the aristocrats. I am sure they would know him if he is any good. I know they are the ones to usually issue the bounties in the first place.” He mentioned and when she looked about it gave him a reason to look around as well.
The fey lights seemed to be gather around them both illuminating a bit more of the place, so he could see her better. “You mean who wants all this wine sold?” He said looking at the casks, and when he said wine there seemed to be a flutter through the fey lights. “It would be Baron Lowson.” He said looking at the lights around them. “He is a new noble and this is the first shipment he is trying to sell at the Capitol. I have pretty much worked for him for all my life, so… here I am. That lot is here because they own me a favor, not for the Baron.” He admits to her with a grin.
Above them, a puck sat with his hand deep in a ruddy brown sack. He took out a handful of dust and slowly sprinkled it, aiming for the tall man. He smiled as he did so. His fingers grinding together to drop the powder slowly as he whispered words of a spell.
A slender fey moved up next to him, her soft glow dimming as she landed. He spider silk clothing was sheer allowing for the purple light she made to glow through, while she dimmed, she was still glowing just a bit like a ember in the fire. “Grumly, what are you doing?” She said in a whisper as she looked down. “Nothing deadly?”
He gave Frida a wide and hedonistic smile. “Nothing that will not pass with the sunrise.” He told her and looked back down at the man of his focus. “Just infatuating him with her. Such a dangerous and deadly pair, I want think a little fun is in order.”
Kline shrugged.
“We have traveled along this road,
These are the first bandits we have seen,
Most highwaymen rob when they have no
Gold.
It is strange and odd, so it seems,
Other nobles want the land of Lowson,
I would not put it past this to be a.
Scheme.”
He paused realizing what just happened.
