Feeding

(OOC – Warning! This post will contain some blood and a few unpleasant details)

Gareth stopped pacing, but found it hard to look at Ceriden. “Of course, I’m thirsty… I’m very, very thirsty…” he quietly said before slowly looking up at Ceriden in shame. This was a fact he couldn’t deny, and it would be far too dangerous to do so. At the same time, it was really difficult not to see Ceriden as his new master, not that he wanted one, but it was simply the way it had always been. Most of them too had started out with kindness, but that rarely lasted for long.

He looked down once more as Ceriden continued speaking. “Thank you. You are being too kind to me. I’ll try to become better at opening up to you” he answered, truly wanting to do so and at the same time to be better at trusting Ceriden in general, no matter the risks.

Then after a moment of hesitation he added “If you’ll excuse me, I think I’ll have some of the blood now. That will make it easier to talk later…”. Having said this, he walked over to the spy, grabbed him by the arm and dragged him away. He didn’t want to make Ceriden feel uncomfortable by feeding in his presence. When he was sure he couldn’t be seen he lifted the spy up into a more natural position, pressed him up against a tree and then allowed himself to sink his fangs into the spy’s neck. Surprisingly the blood was still quite warm which only added to the pleasure of feeding. Now, having a prey that couldn’t move, not a single drop of blood was wasted.

Because of his hunger he didn’t realise how fast he was drinking the blood until there suddenly was no more left. This frustrated him, both because he’d promised Ceriden only to drink a little and because he still wasn’t quite full. In the effort to get a little more blood out of the corpse he chewed down harder into the man’s neck which only lead to him biting off a chunk of flesh. Then he simply decided to change tactics completely. He rolled up his sleeves, being very careful not to get any blood on them in the process, and placed the spy on the ground. Now he could get to all the good parts without getting covered in blood. Just as he’d done with the cow, he started with the hart. Unsurprisingly the man’s hart was much smaller than the cows had been, but just as tasty and easier to reach. Then he moved on to the liver.

When he reached the point where he was about to throw up he finally stopped. Slightly panting he stood up and looked down upon the bloody corpse. Only now he started to recall Ceriden saying something about using the spy for some experiments. That probably wasn’t going to be an option anymore, judging by the current state of the corpse. Under normal circumstances he would have felt disgusted and ashamed of his own behaviour, but right now he was simply too full to think straight.

He carefully wiped off his bloody hands on the man’s shirtsleeves before returning to Ceriden. “I think I have to.. get you another person to.. experiment on” he managed to say between a few hiccups.

(OOC – There probably would some, but not a lot since she would be carrying most of it in a purse or something like that around her waist)
