OOC - Racial Clarification

Hey Silver, I've been asked a few times and I've also wondered, but what is a mage(when it says that under the Race section)?

I saw that Thalia was a mage race, so that is why I wasn't sure if that is what I should put with Adisla. So, I guess I'm just wondering if it is a human with magical abilities and has lengthened their life, if it is its own species, or if I need to add Adisla's species to that section.
