Unorthodox Slavery

"I'm helping this woman manage her slave. She needs him to be a bodyguard, which I explained requires him to be loyal, else he may turn on her at an inopportune moment. So right now we are trying to make it up to him after she chained him up and didn't feed him."

Adisla felt her lip snarl up as the man began speaking, her mind growing suspicious and inpatient with his half-answers until he wisely continued. Narrowing her eyes as the man spoke of their intentions for the pale one, she stepped forward and reaxhed her left hand out with no hesitation, taking hold of the slave's upper arm. Lifting it straight up, she watched as the man's whole gram began to lift up before letting go and turning to the woman and man and speaking, "You expect him to defend you from any assailant? I can nearly touch my fingertips around the thickest part of his arm and he weigh less than a sack of potatoes."

Turning her scrutinizing eyes back on the slave, she spoke as she looked him over, "No, he will never work as a proper bodyguard, unless you have wronged a pack of toddlers." Shaking her head, she looked back to the others and continued, "Besides, what kind of moron has to be taught how to treat their slaves and get the proper results? Look at her fair skin and hair, this girl has never had to work a day in her life."

Reaching out, Adisla took hold of the woman's wrist and turned her hand over to expose her palm. Seeing a complete lack of calluses, she gestured towards them as her mind began sparking a new direction of thought. No knowledge of how to treat a slave and soft hands pointing towards nobility. She knew of no noble person in Dalen who had no slaves, it was so deeply ingrained in their culture. Snarling a lip up, she reached her hand up to move the woman's chin up to expose her face, but she paused as she turned to the man and spoke telepathically this time, "I need you to tell me now whether you are harboring this foreigner intentionally or unintentionally. Do not try to speak to them telepathically, I will feel it and it will be a confession of guilt. Choose wisely."

Ooc - So there is no confusion, telepathy is under the forbidden magic on her bio. If you want me to elaborate that and make it more specific, I will. I thought of it as forbidden because if you are rather adept in telepathy, it is a simple slide to make it mind control which...I don't need to explain why that would be forbidden.
