An Unfortunate Encounter

Ceriden took the key from Sabina, then telekinetically brought the key to Gareth's shackles and undid them. He then telekinetically handed the key and the shackles back to Sabina. Expecting the others to follow, walked out of the stable... and nearly collided into a rather tall woman. He stepped out of the way just in time. A shiver went down his spine as he recognized who it had he nearly run into. He had never actually met Commander Styliane before, but he had been to the Keep several times while doing jobs for her subordinates (he had been toadying up to them in hopes of being able to get access to the military archives), and he had seen her around. He had also heard stories of her fearsome reputation.

"Excuse me, Commander," he muttered, while hoping that she wouldn't think anything of Gareth. Now certainly was a bad time to have any sort of a run in with the law.
