Gareth looked at the man, unsure of his real intentions. So far he had only treated him with kindness, but experience told him that such a thing would never last. None the less, in his current state, Gareth didn't excatly have much of a choice. And though he hated the thought of having to help his so called master with her dreadful spell, he still seriously considered this offer. After all, if he didn't agree on it then they probably wasn't going to feed him either.

"My name is Gareth. And if what you say is true then I promise to help you with the spell" he answred back. Now he just had to hope that Ceriden really would keep his part of the deal, but if he didn't then Gareth had already thought of a plan. He might not enjoy killing people, but if they were to trick him he could always hope to kill that mean woman, his master, and thereby preventing her from performing her spell.
