Updating and Planning

Ceriden was surprised by how expressive the slave's face became upon hearing Ceriden's response and subsequent inquiry. He nodded thoughtfully as he considered the logistics of trying to feed the vampire. Although Dalen was generally quite tolerant of magical creatures, alot of Dalenese authorities drew the line at vampires, who had a reputation of murdering citizens in order to satiate their thirst. As such, delivering the chickens to the stable and letting him eat them there was risky, as the likelyhood of someone seeing the vampire feed was highly likely. Fortunately, Ceriden knew of some more discreet locations in the city where the slave could feed in peace.

Turning to Sabina, Ceriden whispered, "Aye, so your slave is a vampire, which I believe disqualifies him as a vessel for this particular spell. Also, I'm under the impression that he hasn't had any blood for a very long time. Therefore, I believe our first priority should be to help him satiate his thirst, then we can figure out how to acquire a suitable vessel from there."

"I know a place where our friend should be able to eat without any witnesses. So we need to escort him there, and then I am thinking we should buy about ten chickens for him to dine on. I will probably need to be the one to purchase the chickens and transport them to the alleyway I am thinking of."
