When I imagined the town of Radogast, I imagined it as a border town (in order to make some of the earlier posts make sense, the town doesn't have a wall, at least on the outside, though perhaps there can be a wall further into the town, and growth just caused the town to expand around that wall). The capitol of Dalen is currently undefined, but in my mind, Radogast is certainly not the capitol (but that is not my call to make).
While we are on this topic, I think, as our game becomes more involved, we need to start defining, or at least clarifying, the geography of this setting. I don't think we need to make a huge project out of this, but it might be ideal to list mentioned geographic landmarks and points of interest in the currently unused Game Information section.
So currently, we have two named cities, Hartford, a city in Verden that borders the forest between Verden and Dalen, and Ragodast, a large town in Dalen that also borders said forest. Landmark-wise, we have Jocelyn's Inn/Brothel (though how on earth this type of enterprise survives in the middle of a forest is beyond me).
I think we need to come up with a name for the forest as well.
So, all that said, I think it would be a good idea to let the players create whatever geography they want to, but once the place is created, the place should be added to a list of landmarks in the Game Information section.
Just a thought, but this might clean up the muddy water that is this brilliant setting a bit.
