Mortality
Wincing at the repeat of her words, she decided to make eye contact and refuse to break it. It was a difficult task to do; explain why she thought what she did of humans. "Some of them are equal to rodents. Their lives are wasted space, and they don't live long enough to see their faults so they never have the chance to become worth something more."
Her thoughts went on to think about the morality of her beliefs. In theory, she could have whatever belief she wanted- as long as it didn't physically or emotionally come to harm another individual. She didn't think she could hurt Artem by revealing her truth, mainly because she thought more of him. Surely he would understand that. "I also believe the same thing of any mortal beast. Immortality allows objective views of specific breeds. And it just turns out that humans move at a slower rate when evolving intellectually on certain... things." Swallowing hard, she took a step toward him. He seemed a lot bigger now that she had been honest. It was as though telling him the truth about her thoughts made her smaller.
