Taking a chance

She looked at him a little hesitant. Then she opened her backpack she had next to her and pulled out the book. Now there was no turning back. She had to show it to him and pray that he wouldn’t cause a scene when reading it. Slowly she opened the book at the right page and pushed the it a little towards him. After she knew he would have read some of it she added “I already have everything needed, except for one who actually knows about magic…”.
