OOC - Not Very Well Thought Out Suggestions

So, this is kind of a spur of the moment post, but the game has been bringing a lot of confusion to the forefront. All of these ideas are obviously up for discussion in the comments below, I just wanted to throw them out there.

Year: the hardest thing with picking a year system is we would have to create a lore that impacted the while world. For example, our world(at least in the West) began using AD after the birth of Christ, showing a large shifr and also being important enough to cause the civilizations of the region to change how they notated history. I'm not really interested in determining why our people decided this era needed a new way of notation, but I think we can take inspiration from our history. Many of the knights that have been spoken of in our game possess plate armor. This was mainly used from our late 13th century to about the early 17th century. So, what if we take a millennia off and same the in game year is 426?

Dalen Capital: Nadindel

Mage War Duration/Start Date/End Date: As stated in the Mage War overview, the war lasted around about 3 years before the internal strife of Dalen caused them to fall out(kinda like Russia in WW1 lol). So, I say the war began in year 417 and ended in year 420. This will give all characters who had military time an opportunity to fight, if only for a limites time. Now, with the main war ending then, there is nothing to say that further skirmishes did not continue afterwards, explaining the Dalen Barons who thought they could stand against the Queen and also giving Kline his opportunity to fight in skirmish-like attacks after the war ended. Um...yeah.
