"Of course," Auriel replied with a smile she doubted Isai would be able to see between her helmet and the lack of sunlight. She followed Isai fairly closely so as not to lose him in the night. Fortunately, no bandits emerged from the shadows. Instead, all she saw was a guard patrol and a bunch of stray dogs that had to be shooed off repeatedly (they probably caught smelled the meat).

(OOC - Eh, fighting bandits is always fun, but I think I want to try to bring this storyline up to speed with the murder mystery narrative. I'll let you write the scene where they get to Isai's house.)
