What she saw
Conwood pushed her pointer finger in her mouth, making the gagging sound at his "fiancé" statement. Heading in the opposite direction she walked towards a side door on the hallway that had a lovely 'Exit' sign above the door frame. The sun blinded her eyes, the bright adjustment needed from being in such poorly lighted conditions. Scanning the property, her eyes landed on the stables and she made a slow walk towards that area. Looking over at the woods she noticed the male and female continuously motioning towards the Inn and discussing something amongst themselves. Odd.
The hay on the ground was thin about five feet from the entrance of the stable, but thickened as she got closer. Laying eyes on the horse, a sigh of relief escaped her until she set them upon a man tied up inside the stable. Her eyes got wide, and she turned on her heel- the pace she took was considerably faster than the one she started with. It didn't take too long before she was back in the Inn, and joining Artem.
"Artem, we need to talk." Jocelynn interrupted with her request for them to wait on a table. Conwood smiled and nodded, but grabbed Artem's arm once Jocelynn left. "The horse is still there, but this place is more than just sketchy! We need to help that man-" Jocelynn returned and cut her off by showing them their way to the table. After they were seated, Winifred intended to continue. "There are criminals that are staying here, people of the kingdom where they believe morality is subjective and with that-" being cut off once more she tried to maintain her cool. Yet, her normally calm and collected personality was thrown off kilter. "I would just like tea, please." Her voice containing eagerness.
