"We use gravitons!" Said NSD. There were blank looks around the room.
"Its simple. We jump into the system, dial a new wormhole in the
middle of their fleet and get a Blue Midget to fire a graviton beam at
the wormhole. The beam will give the wormhole a gravitational field 10
times stronger than Earth's – pulling all the Hymenoptera ships into it."
"Good plan." Said Johnny. "But what about the Blue Dwarf. We'll be
pulled into it too!"
"We need another shuttle, to fire an anti-graviton beam at the Blue
Dwarf and any other Blue Dwarf shuttles. This will have the reverse
effect and push us away from the wormhole."
Phil stood up. "That's the best plan so far, but only 2 questions.
Where do we send them too, and who's volunteering to fly the two
shuttles?"

"I'm going to fly." Jay and Johnny said at the same time. Nobody
really wanted to argue with Jay, and not many were keen to fly instead.
"I'll be a co-pilot." Eric said. "I am a qualified Space Corps gunner,
plus I have the science know-how to use an anti-graviton beam. Also, I
have an idea where we can send them to."
"Yeah, Manchester!" CK and Shane joked at the same time.
"I had a look at the charts on Shane O'Riley's exploration vessel, and
I discovered a binary system, with a red giant and a black hole. The
black hole is ripping of the outer layers of the sun very slowly, even
though the sun is in the process of dying and is likely to become
another black hole. It also has the advantage of being very far away,
in case any manage to survive.
"It's very interesting," said NSD, "but I'm sure others have ideas too
that we should consider."
