Scutter on a mission

Who: Mk.7, and... well, the rest of humanity I guess
When: Just after Efof and Keats got webbed
Where: Space, the final frontier
Mk.7 had poked many holes into his enemy with the blue midget's
solitary laser cannon, and in the hopes of taking out more enemies,
swung out of the airlock to mag himself on the roof to fire at the
enemy with his own gattling Bazookoids, whilst holding onto a remote
control for the ship. He then looked over to see Efof and Keats's
ships tangled together in a large web, as two fat ships circled them
in a menacing way. Mk.7 turned on his personal communicator.
"Hey, Efof, Keats, you guys alright?"
Mk.7's question was replied by Efof singing 'Always look on the
bright side of life', and Keats telling him that they won't have any
life left to look on the bright side of if they don't escape.
"Sooooo, want me to help you out do ya?"
With that Mk.7 hit the throttle and raced towards the two fat bugs,
bazookoids blazing, dodging enemy shots and missiles.
The first bug started spinning a web to fire at him, but was torn
into tiny pieces before he had a chance.
However the 2nd one was somewhat more successful.
It's web flung at Mk.7's ship just before it was peppered full of
holes.
It wrapped around the blue midget and, immobilising it.
Mk.7, being on the outside, was able to stand where a hole in the
web was, and leapt out into space.
He sighed heavily and activated the small thruster in his back*.
He preferred to only use it in emergencies, and it usually went
unnoticed, but he figured now would be a good time. It's started up
and the scutter blasted towards the two ships trapped together. He
noticed a wing of Hymenoptera ships heading towards them and, using
his momentum, turned the booster off, spun around whilst moving in
the same direction, fired a stream of shots at them, decimating 3 of
the 5 ships, flipped off the 2 remaining ships, spun back around,
and reactivated the booster.
he turned off the booster again and landed with a thud on the side
of Keats' ship.
He made several strategic cut on the web and it floated off.
"Mk.7, this is Keats. Want in?"
"Nah, just go for it, I can cover you from here" said Mk.7 as he
spun around and took out the two ships that had been advancing
earlier, their blood splattering over him.
"Ahh, nothin' but the rain"
With that Efof and Keats raced off together, Keats now being
slightly better armed.
