Re: And Four\'s a lot more fun!

Guinevere noticed as another man sat down with them, he had clearly
noticed her but hadn't offered a welcome, she hadn't drunk enough to
point this out - she wondered if he was one of the people Eric and
Mark had already mentioned, knowing that she could at least cross off
Amber, Jay, Seymour and Mini Phil from the list. She barely raised an
eyebrow at the guys moustache, it was thicker then Lustbader's, how
she detested them, but then if she was ever to get either of them
drunk enough shaving off have of it would always be a good laugh.
She couldn't wait any longer to be introduced and so did so herself.
"Guinevere Winters, Engineer. Just got in a couple of hours ago." She
said extending her hand to be shaken.

ooc: Johnny is actually clean shaven... But let's pretend he decided
to grow one in the last few days, even though it obviously doesn't
suit him.
Where: Parrott's
Who: McJohn, Lustbader, Winters and Johnny Goode.
"Hi. I'm Jonathon Benjamin Goode - aka Johnny Goode. I'm a pilot.
Pleased to meet you." Johnny introduced himself, giving Guinevere a
half-hearted shake before sculling his schooner of scotch on the rocks
and signalling to the bartender for another. "Due to the fact most of
the other pilots are busy, I have to teach basic piloting for new
people. Most make Dean look like... someone who can fly."
"So, what did you do before joining us?" Johnny asked Guinevere.
Guinevere made her reply, with the three men listening interestedly.
"Has Holly shown you to your room?" Eric asked. "Someitimes he gets
very lazy and doesn't do it. It took me ages to find my room, and much
longer to change to one that is habitable."
"Yeah, Holly can be a real smegger at times." Johnny agreed after
finishing his second double-quadriple scotch. "I needed that drink -
the only one who can actually fly, and is made out to even start a
ship let alone be a pilot, is that Irishman - the one we rescued from
the Hymenopteran homeworld."
"Shane?" Eric asked.
"Yeah, him. He made papershuttles through all the lessons so far. For
some smegdamned reason, the JMC made him their representative aboard
the Blue Dwarf, and for some other strange reason, he needs to have a
pilot's license, or they give him half pay. I think they were hoping
we wouldn't be able to give him his license for a while." Johnny said.
"I'm so glad I won't have to worry about him once he get's his
license. I really doubt I'd be cut out to teach people combat skills
anyway."
"Shane O'Riley was a member of an exploration team that was captured
fifty years ago by a Hymenoptera fleet." Eric explained to Guinevere.
"The captain had put him and the other crew in stasis and made sure
the Hymenopteran scientists couldn't open the ship. When the stasis
was deactivated, Shane came out fist first and caught me right in the
jaw. It's still sore, and that was a month ago."
