Re: Niples,Jack,Jay + Melissa "Romantic getaway for.... six!"

All had been quiet within the midsection of the Starbug for a few hours
until Jay, assumingly in response to a telepathic message from the pilot
suddenly got to his feet and stormed into the cockpit.
Seymour, Jack and Melissa through curiousity got up and followed him.
"Whats going on?" Jack asked as Jay ushered the Hymenoptera pilot from it's
seat and took it's place.
"He picked up a gelf craft on a cargo run..." Jay said "I'm gonna diable
them, and bring them aboard for interrogation.."
"WHAT?" Seymour squealed, "Why?"
"Because they might know something moron!" Jay snapped, as he sent the
Starbug into a combat dive, "If they've seen the weapon were hunting for
don't you want to know?"
"Yes but you could just hail them and ask!" Jack replied "We can't just fire
on an innocent ship!"
"Gelf relations with humans have never been great" Jay defended "They'll
likely refuse to offer any help, this way they don;t get a choice....they
help us or we kill them!"
"NO! JAY!" Jack replied "We'll find the weapon but NOT LIKE THIS!"
"ARE YOU FORGETTING WHO'S IN COMMAND HERE LIEUTENANT?!"
"THEY'RE INNOCENT JAY!"
"THATS SIR!" Jay snapped, "Do you intend to obey my orders FeBuggure or do I
have to give you a court martial?!"
"Jay listen to yourself! This isn't you talking!! It's...THEM! You're acting
like them!"
"And what's so bad about that eh?!" Jay replied, still on a course to engage
the gelfs, who's primative sesnor equipment hadn't et picked up the
approaching Starbug, Jack was thankful that it was still out of range. "We
could ALL learn something from the Hive" Jay continued "For one thing
they're collective mentality means they've never even HEARD of
INSUBORDINATION...unlike some security crew I could mention..."
"Jay......" began Jack, but it was too late, Jay...had opened fire....

Seymour packed his mountain load of clothes into the shuttle's hold,
and where he found someone else had already packed their own clothes
he removed them and threw them out of the back.
"I'm sure they don't mind giving a bit of extra room to me, after
all I am Royalty..."
Seymour had volunteered to go on an expedition to try and find the
dangerous weapon that threatened to destroy Earth.
Jack stepped into the Shuttle bay just five minutes after seymour.
He stepped up to the shuttle, "i wonder who i've been lumped
with..." Jack said, seeing most of his and his fiance's stuff all
over the floor. He grabbed some, and stepped into the shuttle,
putting it back where it had been before.
"what?" Jack shouted, seeing seymour sat in the pilots seat. "oh
no... give me a break..." he added to himself quietly.
Jack continued putting his & Melissa's stuff back into the shuttle,
and simply moved seymour's to the side, instead of spread out, and
right in the middle like seymour had put it.
"you know, there are other people going on this mission." he said.
Seymour sighed and made no effort to disguise it. "Oh great, I'm
travelling with a luvvy duvvy couple!" he said in disgust. "I do
hope you know that this is an official Ambassadorial escort." He
looked at Jack.
"Yeah yeah you always say that."
"No, not just me. Jay will be travelling onboard too- and he's the
official Ambassador to the Hymenoptera." then he added "…Even though
I do despise them!"
"what? Jays coming with us as well?" Jack started, "theres not
enough room for everyone in here..." he added. "have you invited
anyone else?" Jack asked, beginning to get rather annoyed. Luckily
Melissa walked in, and put her arm around Jack, which seemed to calm
him down.
"is there anything wrong with a luvvy duvvy couple?" she asked
seymour.
Seymour grunted again in disgust. Or it was possible that there was
a hint of jealousy in his bitterness, as Seymour had been single for
quite a while now. The last affair he had was with Jenny Bond, but
that had gone badly. He had barely seen her since.
Jay walked into the Starbug, he was flanked on both sides by
powerful Hymenoptera guards. Jay looked proud and important
surrounded by his bodyguards. They whispered to him in their own
language and he nodded in understanding, flashing his eyes at
Seymour but not sharing what was said.
"Look at you!" Said Seymour. "You get a small attaché of aliens and
you think you're their emperor!"
Jay flashed him a sinister look. "Well they chose Evil Jay as their
leader, obvioudly they see something great and powerful in us
Chryslers."
"Pfft!" Said Seymour, then remembered that even Alota Chrysler had
now been promoted over him.
Seymour, Jack and Melissa looked around the Starbug which was now
getting cramped. "So where is everyone bunking?"
Jack looked around at the people in the bug. "well, we've got the
double... you lot can go where you want" he said, grabbing a couple
of his bags, to put in their room, saving some space for the rest of
the gang.
Melissa looked at everyone, now being alone with people she hardly
knew, and two rather large, scary aliens. "so... why has everyone
decided to join us?" she asked, feeling a little intimidated by Jay
and his cronies.
Everyone was glaring at the Hymenoptera, feeling uncomfortable with
the killing machines being so close.
Jay spoke up, his voice was starting to change. He seemed a lot more
sinister and powerful than normal. Conversing with the aliens was
playing havoc with his mind. "The Hymenoptera want to survey the
area with us. The aliens are systematically wiping out their systems
one by one, they have a huge interest in destroying their weapons.
Plus they know this area of space much better than we do, so
hopefully we will be able to chart the area much faster."
Jack stepped out of their room in the back, and was instantly
greeted my Melissa appearing next to him, on the side away from the
bugs. "well, seeing as we've got you on board Jay, i say you fly."
he said, "everyone got what they need?" he added.
Jay calmly walked up to the cockpit and surveyed it. He had a walk
far more confident than ever before, more of a slide. He would have
almost suited a long flowing cape at this point and a tall collar
like Ming the merciless. He looked in disgust at the controls.
"I don't feel like flying right now. I'm a Hymenopteran Ambassador
now. YOU FLY!" He said pointing to one of the Hymenoptera beetles.
The insect crawled up to the controls and hunched itself up on the
seat, it started hitting controls with its spindly long legs.
Seymour and Jack looked shocked. "You taught a Hymenoptera how to
fly one of OUR shuttles?!!!"
"Of course" Said Jay.
"What? Are we exchanging technology now? Have you also taught them
all about our defensive systems? Given them the access codes to the
Blue Dwarf's weapons?" Said Seymour in shock.
Jay calmly raised and eyebrow and pointed to a spine at the back of
his neck.
"I have a neural link to the Hymenoptera hive. Whatever I know, they
know."
"I knew this was a bad idea…" Said Jack.
Starbug 88's engines started and it took off into outer space, the
Hymenoptera taking them to the most logical places the dangerous
aliens hiding place could be.
...Protecting the universe from the scum of the Earth...
