The alien aimed his wrist at Efof's other foot. "Alright alright! The
wormhole drive is in the Engineering Control centre, take 4 sections
aft and then 7 decks up." Efof said, cradling his foot.
The alien turned and walked off, leaving Efof pinned to the floor. He
pivoted on the stabbed foot and turned around to look in
Parrotts. "Some help please!"
He groaned as nobody moved, and pivoted again. There was a wall-
mounted radio about 2 meters away from him. "I have to warn them in
Engineering!" He said and tried to step closer to the radio, but
couldn't get any closer. He leaned towards the wall but it was still
too far away. He stretched his good foot closer and ended up doing
the splits on the floor, still no closer to the radio.

"I still haven't got a report back from the security team's! Where's
Phil when you need him?"
Nobody dared to respond to the captain's rhetorical question.
"Holly, try and see if you can pinpoint the locations of those
aliens."
"It's hard Captain, because they seem to be phased out of this
reality most of the time. I'll get back to you later."
"Thanks Holly." Alota replied, sighing.
"Captain, I still can't find anything about phase technology aside
from the basic theories and a few equations which haven't really been
tested." Eric stated from his computer terminal. "It doesn't seem as
if anyone has been really bothered to try and work on it, as quantum
physics looks like one plus one in comparison."
Alota resumed to pacing around the drive room, cleary not happy with
this new enemy and their highly advanced technology.
"One of our top soldiers, Harris, has been badly wounded, and will
probably be out of action for a while, the other good soldiers are on
the planet in major trouble, and we have only green recruits fighting
off an invasion of this ship. Also, Jay is on the planet, meaning
Johnny has to fly the Dwarf, when he would be useful elsewhere - we
are not really equipped to handle this sort of mission."
At that moment, Holly reappeared on screen.
"Captain, I've found Efof, he's been attacked by an alien. He's on
his way to the infirmary now. He also has a report from the away
mission as well. I'll transmit the details to you in a second."
"I want to speak to Efof myself, thankyou Holly."
"Well, he's passed out from this stinger object which had embedded
his foot to the floor."
"I need to find out about the alien that attacked him!"
"That will have to wait for a couple of minutes, until the medical
team let him talk to you. I'll make sure that they get Efof to go to
the drive room when they've finished."
Holly disappeared and the details of the report came on screen.
"I hate to ask for backup from the Space Corps, but I need it.
Unfortunately, that choic has been taken from me, as none of the
other space corps ships could get here in a hundred years."
"Well, let's hope that this alliance the report mentions is enough
help." Johnny said.
"You know, Alota, we still could get some other help." Eric mused.
"How?"
"Well, we use the wormhole drive to return to Earth and get some more
troops, weaponry, ships and vehicles in the cargo decks and then jump
back here. By my estimation, with pressure and money applied in the
right places, it could take as little as 36 hours. However, some
people might see that as theft from the Space Corps, but hopefully
that pressure and money applied in the right places will convince
people otherwise, particularly when they see the results in a few
months."
"Let's hope it will not come to that."
