Jay was pushed closer to the spider and forced down onto his
knees. "I don't like how this is going." He said. Then two
Hymenoptera restrained him and the hairy one bend down to face him.
Jay struggled, but the Hymenoptera stabbed him in the base of his
neck.
Jay screamed.

Where: In the Hymenoptera hive mind
….on another plane of reality……
Jay blinked. In fact he couldn't blink because he didn't have any
eyes. He looked down and couldn't really see a body. He was pure
consciousness floating around in the mind of the Hymenoptera. It was
how Seymour described it, white and foggy, and just beyond the fog
he could just make out the shapes of insects scurrying around.
In front of him was a bright sphere, which glowed brighter as it
talked.
"JAY CHRYSLER." It said.
Jay didn't really know what to say. "Yup" he answered.
"THE JAY CHRYSLER IS THE ONE."
"And only!" Jay beamed.
"JAY CHRYSLER WAS THE ONE, AND WILL BE AGAIN."
"Your point?" Said Jay, tired of the cryptic messages.
"JAY CHRYSLER WILL HELP US"
"What?"
"JAY CHRYSLER WILL BE THE ONE TO HELP US, HE HAS THE TECHNOLOGY THAT
WE NEED."
"Maybe if you first ask me! AND tell me what's going on AND how I
can help you. Oh, AND say please!" Quipped Jay.
….back in the cave…..
Who: Seymour, Phil, Jay and some Hymies
Where: The cave
When: A few minutes later
Seymour and Phil looked at Jay's lifeless body. An extendable spike
from the hairy hymie stuck in Jay's neck.
"Is it sucking out his brains?" Asked Phil.
"Maybe. But I think they're just having a chat." Said Seymour.
The Hymenoptera retracted the spike and Jay woke up. The hairy hymie
seemed to root around in his furry body (maybe he had a pocket), and
pulled out a small green insect that he popped in Jay's ear. Jay
squirmed but accepted it.
After this, Phil and Seymour were released. Which surprised them a
little.
Jay walked over to them. "It's alright, they won't hurt us."
"What's going on?"
"Well it's a little long to explain, but they need our help. I've
agreed to be their spokesperson, to communicate with us and the
Hymenoptera."
"You don't mean…." Started Phil.
"You don't mean….. You're an Ambassador?!!!" Said Seymour in shock.

Who: Harris, CK, MK6 and Wowbagger
Where: Tunnel Entrance
When: Some time after
MK6 carried on twiddling with the radio whilst Harris and CK messed
around with their beer-guns, trying to figure out how to get the
beer out.
Mk6 looked up from the cab of the RAID to see a man with black and
green skin walk out of the solid rock face in front of him. Four
other men entered out of similar rock faces. If MK6 had eyes, he
would rub them in shock and disbelief. But he knew his ocular
sensors couldn't be fooled.
"Um guys…." He said.
Harris spun around and fired a spray of beer at the figure. It
passed straight through him as if he were a ghost.
"Ah crap." He ducked behind the RAID and the figure shot a poison
dart at him.
"Use the second function!" Shouted CK.
Harris popped up and used the alcohol-gun's grenade launcher. It
lobbed a bottle of Sol at the target, which also went straight
through him and smashed on a rock behind.
"Get the proper guns out!" Shouted Harris.

Who: Alota, Johnny B Goode, Eric Lustbader
Where: Drive Room, Back on the Blue Dwarf
When: Round about the same time
Alota paced furiously up and down the drive room. John Keats and the
Endymion were lost after reporting an unknown ship in the vicinity,
and now she had heard about an unauthorised Midget launch.
"I wish people would just follow orders and not get themselves into
trouble!" She said.
Johnny B Goode rolled his eyes, then rolled them back to the sensor
computer screen he was monitoring. "Captain! We have a ship
inbound…. Or do we? No…. its okay its not… yes! It is… no, its gone…"
"What are you blabbering about?!"
"Its an erratic signal captain, its like its phasing in and out of
existence! Its coming right at us."
"Prepare Turrets!!!" Said Alota, giving the command. Alert sirens
rang out
Around the ship, people frantically got to the external turrets and
awaited further orders.
A ghostly ship headed straight towards them, passing through all
gunfire. Even at the last moment it refused to pull up.
"It's a suicide bomber!!!" Yelled Johnny in the Drive Room. And
dived for cover. After 30 seconds he got back up and looked at his
computer.
"What happened?" Asked Alota.
"Well… it…. It passed straight through us." He said puzzled. "Is
that normal?"
"Not on my ship." Said Alota.
In fact, as the ship did pass straight through them, it passed like
a ghost through corridors 34-49 on E deck, a pie shop, the
gentleman's club on the Promenade and the men's communal showers in
the mining department.
After it passed through, each of these places had a new inhabitant.
One with dark black skin and green eyes.
