COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER: not sure what to put for a subject

With the arrival of the Blue Dwarf in the Sol System, Amiri was finally able
to take hir first assignment. S/he hadn't been sure what was going on, so
s/he just managed to move into hir quarters. S/he was at this point still
in the middle of unpacking, and setting up. Since s/he was furry from head
to toe s/he didn't have many cloaths, even hir uniforms were specially made,
but s/he did have many personal effects.
S/he had pictures of family, a few old communications devices set on
display, some pulled apart to play with. Of course s/he had their manuals.
S/he also had several language dictionaries, though s/he didn't really need
them, they were more for display. Vanth was the sort of being that could
listen to a language for a few hours and begin to pick up the basics.
Though s/he still used the UT just because it was there and made hir job
easier.
Farkas set up a few of hir books. S/he was a lucky one. Through special
dispisition s/he was given hir very own quarters, so s/he was able to use
all the space. S/he got to the bottom of a container, and gasped. S/he
reached in and pulled out hir well used favoret plush. S/he imediatly
pulled it close and hugged it tight. Then out of the blue there was a knock
at hir door. Being only in hir fur coat, s/he hesitated not sure of these
humans reaction to hir apearance, then s/he called out, "Enter."
((Who could it be? Could it be you coming to welcome be aboard? Maybe,
that's up to you... TAG whoever Orian maybe?))
