Dean, who was prepping the Raven walked over to him. "Seymour! What
are you doing?" We're in the middle of a TV battle, the Space Eagle
has just engaged the Enterprise out there and is requesting backup.
Now is not the best time for our pilots to be drinking!"
"Its free." Said Seymour.
"Okay then, just one." Said Dean. Suddenly a big crowd of pilots
surrounded Seymour, mugging him for the Guinness he had.

Eric and a couple of no-name armoury departmental staff brought three
crates into the flight deck.
"I have the special weapons here, which are designed to take out the
holograms. Now, I need you to form three queues, one here, one by Mr
Blitzem and one by Miss Gunnappy." Eric motioned to his two staff
members. "Each pilot, as well as anyone in a craft, will be required
to take a weapon. Captain Chrysler has more details to give in a
moment."
Eric and his staff were suddenly surrounded by a bunch of drunken
pilots, each with a disregard for procedure, as they each tried to
grab at some weapons.
Dean managed to get near Eric in the brawl that was starting to
develop. "Efof and Skutter 6 have taken a Space Eagle and are already
in combat with the enemy."
"What? This must have happened on my way here."
"I need to hurry up and finish getting the Raven ready to save them."
"No one's going anywhere." Everybody froze when they heard Alota's
voice, booming over the loudspeakers. "This is how people die, by
ignoring my orders or making up their own. If we are to win this, we
need to work as a team, and that includes listening to your captain.
Namely me."
"Now, which imbecile decided to bring alcohol in here and give it to
rostered crewmembers? That person has..."
"That's not important, Captain." Seymour interrupted Alota. "Allow me
to lead the troops into battle for you. I have a lot of experience in
this, and my men trust me explicitly."
For some reason, half the people in the flight deck suddenly had a
nasty cough.
"Thankyou civilian, you may stand down." Alota continued. "I am aware
that one of our ships has already been taken out to battle. That is
quite unfortunate, as we haven't given you our battle plans yet."
Jay walked up next to Alota, followed shortly by Phil.
"Chrysler will give us details about our attack patterns, while
FeBuggre will explain how to deal with the hologrammatic soldiers."
