Eric was running to the drive room, as someone had locked him in his
room, blackmailing Holly into keeping him there.
Eric had eventually threatened Holly with a wipe, saying he could
replace him with Tim.
"And I'd probably be promoted for it as well." Eric had said.
Holly gave in, but had refused to say who blackmailed him. "Sorry
Dude, but this guy scares me as much as what you do, plus he's much
more crazy."
Eric came across CK escorting Nadine to the civilian shelter.
As Nadine entered the shelter, Eric spoke to CK.
"I hope you haven't embarrassed yourself in front of her yet, Sir."
Eric said. "Remember what happened with the poor lass who was the new
barmaid at Parrots? She had a nervous breakdown and is now kept in a
secure room in a secret deck of the ship."
"Yeah, well, I haven't had a drinking binge as bad as that since,
Eric. Now, you need to quickly get to the drive room, or Alota's
going to demote you lower than the lab rats, so follow me - I know a
shortcut."
Eric and CK soon had entered into the drive room, with the meeting
partially under way.
Alota broke off what she was saying and spoke to Eric.
"Nice of you to make it, Mr Lustbader. I almost had to give your
position to someone else."
"Sorry.."
"Explanations can wait, Armoury Officer, as this is an emergency
situation." Alota said. "Now, according to the rules, they can send a
boarding party, and so can we, although they happen rarely. Now,
don't worry, no-one can die, as the hologrammatic ship has the life
support necessary for a boarding crew, and any hologram raiders can
only stun you, they cannot hurt you as much as what I can."
"Now," Alota continued, "the people from the show have given
us 'weapons', which will only turn off the holograms without doing
damage to any of thei equipment. Eric, I need you to catalog and
prepare them for distribution."
