Severe Headaches

"I wonder what the smeg went on in there." Johnny said, as they were
leaving the building. "The alarm has stopped now."
"I..." Eric started to speak, when they both could only see black.

They woke up back in the Blue Dwarf, Johnny just outside the drive
room and Eric in one of the engineering decks.
'What the smeg?' Johnny thought to himself. 'What a weird dream, and
why the smeg am I fully dressed and out near the drive room?'
He started to think back on the previous events and remembered that
he had lost a friend, lost his ship, had the cybernetic limbs
installed, been in a smeg-awful training simulation, had a weird dram
where none of this had happened and then woken up, remembering what
he was about to do - give Alota a peice of his mind.

Eric couldn't remember what he was doing on the engineering decks,
when he remembered about the time fluctuations, which he thought
could have been caused by the worm-drive.
'I'm not an engineer, but it all seems to have fixed itself now.'
Eric thought to himself. 'I'd better let the Captain know, as she is
one of the JMC's finest engineers.'
He walked into an elevator, giving Holly the level of the drive room
and waiting ten minutes while it took him there. On the way, it
stopped at a floor where a team of computer programmers came on, and
then they exited twenty floors later. After that, Eric was glad of
the oxygen masks in the side of the elevator, as he desperately
needed fresh air.
