From the planet monitoring station Jay and Dean watched the CNN news.
"All over the planet scores of alien craft have launched an attack against
mankind!" came the voice of the reporter.
"I for one surrender completely and utterly without condition"
"Smeg..." said Jay watching "They better not go NEAR my girlfriend.."
"Girlfriend?" asked Dean "Does Alota know about this?!"
"Who?!"
"Dunno...." replied Dean "another toastie?!"
"You've got to be kidding me, at a time like this?" Jay answered, "Dude,
this is a chance for both of us to finally get some action! Instead of you
monitoring boring stuff uo here all day and me teaching morons how to
fly..." he glanced at his student "no offence..."
He turned to the station commander. "Do you have any fighter craft at all?!"
"Couple of Space Eagles....thats all..."
"Perfect." Jay replied.
"What about me?" Jay's student asked "Can I help?!"
"YOU?!" asked the station captain, laughing "I watched your approach on
radar before commander Chrysler took over! You've got to be kidding if you
think he's gonna let you fly an eagle! and solo at that!"
"She'd probably do better than Dean.."
"HEY!" replied Dean "I'll have you know I'm one of the best pilots ever to
graduate in the corp!"
"Sure..."
"Well..." said Dean "I'm one of the best pilots who wasn't an ape..."
"Regardless I need all the hands I can get...come on! We're going on a
bug-hunt!"
