Attack of the killer toma.... no, wrong film....

Amber stood facing the door, John was cowering somewhere in the back
corner of the small room still getting used to what had happened to
the Blue Dwarf and the sudden Hymenopterra attack. After following
the Maccys army to Scotland, they had taken shelter in the building
when the bugs had attacked. Amber had armed herself with a large
kitchen knife and was waiting for them to come through the doors. She
stood and waited, that was when the goop started raining down on the
city. One lump landed outside the window of the kitchen and splashed
with a large squishy sound, the residue that landed on the windows
cracked the pane and shatted the glass. A small armoured fighter bug
leaped through the shattered glass and started shooting randomly
around the room, as if not quite sure how to controll the laser
attached to it. John squealed and grabbed Amber as she was about to
attack the kiler ant like creature.
"Now iss not the time Amber!" He said dragging her towards the
door.
"Get off me smeg head I can take it out!" She said her eyes
glowering "I'll kill you instead shall I?" They burst out the door,
Amber still ranting and raving and ran straight into the red egg like
thing. It cracked from the impact.
"Oh that is never good..." Keats mumbled and started to back off.

"What is it?" Asked Seymour.
Dante bravely touched it and leaped away. "Its moving! I think its
an egg of some kind."
"An egg. But its so big…… uh oh!" Said Seymour.
The red egg started to crack, and a long tendril burst through its
shell, lifting the top off the rest of the egg.
Dante stood back and started to blast the egg with his weapon,
succeeding in only freeing the large creature from its shell.
All that was left was a massive beetle, which shook its back end and
raised itself up onto its hind legs before stomping off over the
rest of the city.

Amber spotted Seymour and Dante from across the square where the egg
had been, where now a trail of beetle like destruction cut through
the city like a hoard of angry army ants.
"Stupid psyched up Ambassador. I bet he caused this to happen." she
marched over to Seymour "I bet it was your gun ho attitude that made
you attack that and break the egg! You stupid idiot." she ignored
Dante, being unafraid of the large man as she was.
